At Lava Leaf Organics, our roots run deep in New Mexico’s soil and the cannabis community. What began as a vision between founders Mitchell, Tony, and Steve Martinez has blossomed into a cannabis company defined by resilience, intention, and integrity.
We didn’t take the easy road. When our original license application under the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act was denied in 2015 due to political hurdles, we doubled down instead of walking away. Partnering with industry leaders like Urban Wellness, we spent years refining our cultivation practices and proving that premium, patient-first cannabis could—and should—be the standard.
That persistence paid off. In 2021, we proudly secured our production license under the Cannabis Regulation Act. Since then, Lava Leaf Organics has been on a mission to raise the bar for what cannabis can be: sustainable, ethical, and extraordinary in every form.
